Municipalities across the North West Province successfully submitted their Annual Financial Statements (AFS) and Annual Performance Reports (APR) to the Auditor-General South Africa (AGSA) and Provincial Treasury on 31 August 2026.
Representing Kgetlengrivier Local Municipality at the Annual Financial Statements Handover Ceremony held at Sun City, the Acting Mayor, Cllr Thukulala Motaung, together with the Acting Municipal Manager, Mr Andrew Pholose, and the Acting Chief Financial Officer, Mrs Tebogo Mogapi, formally submitted the Municipality’s AFS and APR to the Auditor-General and Provincial Treasury.
The submission marks an important milestone in the Municipality’s ongoing commitment to good governance, financial accountability, transparency and improved municipal performance.
