Kgetlengrivier Local Municipality informs residents that refuse collection services in Swartruggens have been disrupted due to a mechanical breakdown of the local compactor truck on 05 May 2026.
To address the backlog, the Koster compactor truck will be shared between both areas. Collection in Swartruggens and surrounding areas will take place from Thursday, 07 May 2026, through the weekend (Saturday & Sunday).
