Kgetlengrivier Local Municipality successfully hosted a public participation session aimed at engaging residents and stakeholders on key draft municipal policies and by-laws.

The session brought together community members, businesses, traditional leaders, and organisations to contribute towards shaping policies that guide local development, planning, and economic activity.

The following draft policies and by-laws were presented for public input:
• Informal Trading By-Law
• Spatial Planning and Land Use Management (SPLUM) By-Law
• Building Management By-Law
• Outdoor Advertising By-Law
• Housing Sector Plan By-Law
• Vacant Stand Reclamation and Redistribution Policy

Residents from Koster, Swartruggens, Derby, Reagile, Mazista, Moedwil, and surrounding areas actively participated, raising valuable inputs, concerns, and proposals.
