Kgetlengrivier Local Municipality successfully held its Strategic Planning Session on 19 and 20 February 2026, bringing together leadership and management to reflect, plan, and strengthen service delivery for the community.
The session focused on:
▪ Reflecting on performance for the 2025/2026 financial year
▪ Developing key performance indicators (KPIs) for the 2026/2027 financial year
Executive Mayor Cllr. Thabo Jacobs expressed sincere appreciation to all directorates for their continued dedication and commitment to improving service delivery across the municipality.
He further emphasized that all newly developed KPIs must be firmly aligned with:
✔ Service delivery priorities
✔ Financial sustainability
✔ Community development objectives
The Mayor highlighted the importance of accountability, interdepartmental collaboration, and continuous performance monitoring to ensure the municipality achieves its strategic goals in the upcoming financial year.
