In his Human Rights Day address, Mayor Cllr Thabo Jacobs called on the community to honor the sacrifices made for today’s freedoms by actively upholding dignity, equality, and justice. “This day reminds us of our duty to build a society where every person’s rights are respected,” he said.
Urging action over words, the Mayor emphasized fostering unity, standing against injustice, and ensuring inclusivity. “Let us work together so no one is left behind,” he added.
