On 15 August 2025, Kgetlengrivier Local Municipality hosted its inaugural Mayoral Career Exhibition at Reagile Stadium, a landmark event for our community. The exhibition brought together esteemed institutions, including Rostec College, Central University of Technology, Culinary School in Rustenburg, Rosebank College, UNISA, SAPS Training Center, Roads Traffic Management, and more, to guide and inspire matriculants in shaping their future careers.
Mr. Ruben Motlhampe, former principal of Mphe Bana, delivered an inspiring message, urging learners to “work harder and wiser” to achieve their dreams. In his keynote address, the Honourable Mayor encouraged Kgetlengrivier learners to rise above their circumstances, emphasizing that determination and focus can unlock their full potential.
This pioneering event, the first of its kind in our municipality, laid a strong foundation for empowering matriculants with knowledge, exposure, and hope for a brighter future.
